I think if you fix those problems this one would be hands down the better Telegram client for KaiOs, if not the best app overall (for me personally, Telgram is crucial). I believe I'll keep the old bananahakers client for opening photos/videos/audio and to add new contacts and keep Telekram installed to send audio messages. Start typing on one device and finish the message from another. _A dark teme would be wonderful (but that's only my taste/opinion, not an actual problem, of course).Īll in all it looks really promising, looking forward to further updates/refinements. Telegram apps are standalone, so you don’t need to keep your phone connected. _The menu on rsk is another really nice idea, the problem is that, once you enter the menu, unfortunately you can't change settings, you can't add a contact, you can't create groups and so on. You can basically only edit your last message or write a new one. You can't open/magnify any image, audio or video, you can't select a specific message to quote/reply. There are a few mayor problems with the current implementation.
That's nice, but still I would prefer that same "jumping" style navigation you used for the contact list (i mean jumping from one message to the next one like you do with usernames in the contact list). _If I use the d-pad key in the chat, it scrolls trough previous messages or images. A smile attached can often be really helpful to not look rude). (I onestly don't care for emoticons on my pc client, but, you know, when you tipe from t9 keyboard you tend to shorten your messages a bit, so that they can sometimes appear to be "blunt". _The lsk for emoticon in message is a great idea. _ Push notification still not working on my system (even if I exit the app pressing the "back" key instead of closing it with the "end call" key). (I tested on my Nokia 2720 kaios 2.5.2 with the last firmaware version) Unfortunately I also noticed a few usability problem, so I guess it could be useful to make a little report to you, so maybe you can fix them in future relases. The cursorless navigation is also really neat and makes the app way faster and smoother to use. The beloved voice messages are working fine, and that's crucial from my point of view. Those messages send almost instantly, making Telegram noticeably faster than most messenger or SMS apps. The app supports basic features such as read receipts, deleting, editing, forwarding, and replying to specific messages. First off -THANK YOU- This is one of the most intersting app ever seen on KaiOS. If you accept, Telegram alerts your contacts who already use the service that you have joined.
